Tate Stevens' Iconic Grand Ole Opry Shirt Auctioned for St. Jude Children's Hospital

Nashville, TN — Country music star Tate Stevens auctioned off the shirt he wore during his debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry and on X-Factor, raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The winning bid came from dedicated fan, Ronda Marble Ostman.

The grey Roper shirt that Stevens wore during his long-dreamed-of performance at the Opry symbolizes a major milestone in his career. Stevens, who has often described the Opry performance as one of the most surreal and meaningful moments of his life, decided to use this piece of memorabilia to give back.

All proceeds from the auction went to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, helping to support its mission of providing life-saving treatment to children with cancer and other serious illnesses, free of charge to their families.

Stevens expressed his gratitude to Ostman and all the bidders who participated. “I’m beyond grateful for Ronda’s generosity and for everyone who supported this auction. St. Jude is a cause close to my heart, and knowing that this shirt will help make a difference in the lives of children and their families means everything to me,” he said.

The auction, which drew attention from fans across the country, is a testament to Stevens’ influence and the strong connection he shares with his audience. Ronda Marble Ostman’s winning bid ensures that this piece of country music history will continue to make an impact, long after the final notes were played at the Opry.

See Tate’s return to the Opry House on August 19th at 7pm.
